First published in 1982, this retelling of a range of Aboriginal myths, legends and fables includes some that provide an explanation of natural phenomena, and others dealing with the actions of people and animals. Aims to convey an impression of the bond between Aboriginal people, their environment, and the spirit life of the Dreamtime. Many of the stories have previously been published in books such as 'Myths and Legends of Australia' and 'Rain in Arnhem Land'.
